Description:
EDGE funds to assist with road improvements in support of the location of Xpress Materials, LLC, a concrete manufacturer to West Point. The Company has chosen a 47.76-acre site in the new Northwest Harris County Business Park due to its close proximity to the new KIA plant which it intends to serve. Xpress Materials, a subsidiary of the Graham Family of Companies (GFC), is a privately-held company engaged in cement and concrete manufacturing. GFC has a number of other companies and subsidiaries including Graham Brothers Construction Company which was founded by brothers Claude and Carl Graham in 1954. This project is in competition with Chambers County, Alabama.
