Description:
Equity funds for the construction of a sewer line to serve its existing publicly owned 100-acre industrial park. The project will open up 80 undeveloped acres in the park. Currently 80 of the 100 acres are not served by sewer and this project will complete service to the entire park. An existing 12” line provides water to the industrial park. The Charles Owen Company, a maker of equestrian equipment, has committed to a $1,200,000 private investment and between 5 and 10 new jobs. They will lease an existing building in the industrial park and rent excess space to other British firms. Other possible prospects include local companies who seek space to expand their existing Lincoln County operations. H&H Industrial Maintenance stated that they will construct three 2,500 sf spec buildings in the park. The community has located a new industry in the park, Medac, a medical billing company, that commits to create 300 jobs in 3 yrs and invest $2 million.
