Learn more about the Georgia Entrepreneur and Small Business Program

The OneGeorgia Authority has provided funding to the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute and the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center to deliver expanded services to Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses in rural Georgia. This new partnership program is called the Georgia Entrepreneur and Small Business Program or GA-ESB for short. The Goals of this program are to: • Support the needs of the small business and entrepreneur community • Improve the operations of entrepreneur and small businesses • Position small businesses for growth • Provide access into new markets and technologies Services available at no or low cost include: • One-on-one consultations for business growth and development including strategic plans, business plans, marketing, human resources, financing and other aspect to create and maintain a successful business. • Market development through data mining and/or new product development • Marketing through technology including information on how to assess your website, social networking opportunities, e-commerce and more • Implementation of manufacturing technologies for improved performance including automation, information technology solutions and best practices of Lean, Quality, and Sustainability • Peer-to-peer networking opportunities • Assistance in navigating how to do business with the federal, state and/or local governments.
