EDGE funds to assist with infrastructure improvements (water, sewer, roads) to support the location of TRACO to Bainbridge and Decatur County. TRACO is a leading manufacturer of windows and doors. Founded in 1943, the Company offers building products for the residential, commercial, retail and corporate industries. The Company has manufacturing facilities in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Florida and Iowa. The Bainbridge facility, an 80,000 SF speculative building, is situated on 28 acres in the Decatur County Industrial Park. TRACO plans to expand the building to 178,000 SF and add approximately 17,000 SF of office space. This project is in competition with Florida and Alabama.
