Perdue Farms, founded in 1920, is in its third generation of family ownership and is a vertically integrated producer, processor, marketer and distributor of fresh and further processed poultry products. In addition, the Company merchandises and processes grain, soybean oil and feed ingredients. With 20,000 employees, Perdue Farms is the fourth largest poultry company in the U.S. behind Tyson Foods, Pilgrim’s Pride and Gold Kist. This facility currently has 2,175 employees.
