EDGE funds to acquire an automated carton handling system for the Web Offset Press. This automation process will reduce processing costs and improve efficiency for Graphic Packaging Corporation (GPC). GPC is a global paperboard packaging company with leading market positions. This project is in competition with Monroe, Louisiana. The project is expected to create 46 new jobs in addition to the existing 111 jobs at this location. However, new job creation could rise to 100 when considering an on-site subcontractor and other vendors.
