Description:
Equity funds to extend sewer infrastructure to the HIghway 82 Corridor. Specifically, this project will require the construction of three miles of gravity sewer, four miles of force main and four pumping stations. The PER indicates that this will be performed in two stages. These sewer improvements will assist with the development of the Lee County Industrial Park (currently does not have sewer collection available) with 45 available acres and the development of a proposed Business Park that could create a minimum of 75 new jobs. Terrell County endorses this project and indicates that a significant portion of residents commute to other adjacent counties to work.
