Equity funds for the acquisition of machinery and equipment, a Diester and Sand Cyclone System, to benefit the Macon County Sand Company. The company will locate on 700 acres in Macon County. The project will result in 24 direct jobs paying between $10-$15 per hour with benefits. $5.8 million of private investment will be made. An indirect impact of the Macon County Sand Company will be additional work secured by local truckers who will transport sand from the Macon facility to various construction sites.
