Description:
EDGE funds to assist with building acquisition. The Authority has applied on behalf of Plastiques Cellulaires Polyform, Inc. (Polyform or the Company), a privately-held Canadian manufacturer of insulated concrete wall systems. The Company plans to locate a manufacturing facility in an existing building on Cargo Drive in Columbus' Corporate Ridge Industrial Park. This project covers approximately 14.3 acres. This project will create 100 new jobs. Private investment is projected to be at least $10 million and possibly reaching $16 million in three years with a total project cost reaching as high as $16.8 million. This project is in competition with Alabama.
