EDGE funds to assist with site preparation costs. The Authority has applied on behalf of Road America, a full service wholesale and retail provider of motor club plans. Road America is part of the MAPFRE Group, a mutual insurance conglomerate based in Madrid, Spain. The Company plans to construct a 25,000 SF call center on a 3.73-acre site on Victory Drive in Columbus. This project will create 100 new jobs in the first year and increase to 300 new jobs within four years. Private investment is projected to be approximately $4.2 million. This project is in competition with Florida.
