EDGE funds to assist with the expansion of SKC’s 100,000 SF solar panel manufacturing facility. SKC, a Korean-based manufacturer established in 1976 and based in Seoul, South Korea, has established its North American headquarters in Covington. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is touted as the most advanced plant in the industry. The company’s expansion is expected to occur in two phases with Phase I planned to start in 2012 and Phase II in 2015.
