EDGE funds to assist with the purchase of machinery and equipment for a new manufacturing and distribution facility for Aladdin manufacturing Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, Inc. Mohawk is one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of floor-coverings. Aladdin will manufacture and distribute carpet pads at the new 112,500 square-foot facility. The facility will be located on a 19-acre tract of land in the Magnolia Industrial Park. With private investment of $5,360,000, this project will create 50 new jobs over the next two years.
