EDGE funds to repair equipment damaged in a fire earlier this year at Avondale Mills, a denim manufacturing facility in Tift County. Otherwise, the company will close the plant and relocate to existing facilities in Alabama and South Carolina. This project would preserve 85 jobs of which 25% represent 30 years of employment.
