EDGE funds to build-out specifications in a 100,000 S.F. speculative building located in the Toombs Corporate Center on US Hwy 1, north of Lyons. The Authority applied for EDGE funds in support of the location of Simonton Building Products (SBP), one of the nation's largest vinyl window fabricators. SBP is headquartered in Parkersburg, W.V., and employment at all facilities exceeds 3,600. This project will create 85 new jobs. This will be SBP's eighth manufacturing facility. This project is in competition with Bradenton, Florida.
