Debbie Dlugolenski
Director, Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget
Debbie Dlugolenski was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue as Director of the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget in June 2010. The Office of Planning and Budget (OPB) is responsible for the management and development of the state’s $18 billion budget, state policy and strategic planning, and management evaluations for state government.
Prior to her recent appointment, Ms. Dlugolenski served as Deputy Director of the Office of Planning and Budget, Director of the Physical and Economic Development Division at OPB, and as Assistant Commissioner of the Office of Information Technology, Planning and Development with the Technical College System of Georgia.
She currently serves as Vice-Chairman of the Georgia State Road and Tollway Authority, Secretary of the Board of the OneGeorgia Authority and is on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Lottery Corporation, the Georgia Workforce Investment Board and the Georgia Employee Benefits Council. Ms. Dlugolenski is a graduate of the Georgia Environmental Leadership Program.
Debbie Dlugolenski earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Jacksonville State University and a Master’s Degree from Nova Southeastern University. She has three children and two grandchildren.
