Equity Fund Competition
(FY '01-Round 1)
The OneGeorgia Authority has received 47 applications under the Equity Fund in the first round of competition. The submission deadline was January 16, 2001. These applications request a total of $20,192,030 in funding. A complete list of applications by applicant, amount of funds requested and short description of each proposal is provided for your information.

You will note from the project descriptions that some of the activities for which funding has been requested may not be eligible activities under program regulations. It should also be noted that several applications have been submitted by ineligible applicants. These applicants have been advised that if they wish their projects to be considered in this round of competition, they should resubmit their proposal within ten days under the sponsorship of an eligible applicant.

Funding announcements will be made by March 30, 2025 and approximately $5,000,000 will be available for award in this first round of competition. As a result, we anticipate being able to fund approximately ten to 15 projects.

A second round of competition for Equity funds will be held this fiscal year, with applications being due by May 15, 2025 and awards made by July 31, 2001. The amount of funding available for award in this second competition will also total approximately $5,000,000.

Applications for EDGE funds continue to be reviewed and awarded on a year-round basis.
